The following courses are currently only offered to organizations as customized in-house workshops. Please contact Roger Beaudry at firstname.lastname@example.org to have him design a customized course that meets the specific needs of your organization.
TRAINING – COLLABORATIVE WORK SKILLS
In this workshop participants learn the soft skills they need to work collaboratively with others in the workplace. Those attending learn how to achieve their objectives in the workplace while maintaining and actually building relationships.
TRAINING – ARBITRATION/TRIBUNAL ADVOCACY SKILLS
In this workshop client representatives (labour relations personnel and union representatives) learn how to build cases for arbitration or tribunal hearings. Participants learn how to develop theories, interview witnesses, collect and preserve evidence and otherwise prepare cases to be argued for hearing. In addition to preparing cases in role play exercises, the participants get to see the cases they have prepared unfold in mock hearings in which they take turns playing the role of witnesses, board side chairs and counsel.
TRAINING – MEDIATION ADVOCACY SKILLS
In this workshop those that represent parties in mediation (lawyers, labour relations consultants, union representatives and others) learn how to prepare effectively for mediation and how to implement winning strategies to achieve better results.
TRAINING – WORKPLACE COMMUNICATION SKILLS
In this workshop participants learn how to improve their workplace communication skills. Strategies for structuring discussions and meetings are explored. Participants learn how to help others hear things they do not want to hear and how to encourage effective exchanges through the use of interactive listening skills.
